Scotland’s young hill runners were in brilliant form over the weekend at the Junior Home International.
A superb team effort that included team golds and individual medals saw Scotland win the Edinburgh Trophy for the overall competition.
Scotland and England both had two wins each in the four races but the Scots proved better on countback to enjoy trophy glory.
Well done to all the athletes coaches, clubs and team managers involved in (another) special moment for Scottish junior hill running.
Nancy Corrie took silver and Lucia Connell secured bronze in the U18 Women’s race.
Billy Sutherland raced his way to the top spot on the podium in the U18 Men’s race.
Scottish presence on the podium continued in the U20 Women’s race as Hania Czebreszuk ran her way to gold.
To round it all off, Kieran Hardie and Rowan Taylor brought it home for the team with gold and silver respectively in the U20 Men’s race.
