The Best Reactions to the Jaylen Brown-Paul George Trade

The NBA trade market has been going DUMMY! The best and most hilarious reactions to the blockbuster Jaylen Brown-Paul George are below.

In a stunning trade no one saw coming, the Celtics traded Brown to the 76ers on Wednesday in exchange for Paul George, two first-round draft picks, and two second-rounders.

The Celtics will receive a 2028 first-round pick that could convert from a first to a swap that is more favorable to Boston, a 2031 unprotected Philadelphia first, a 2028 second-round pick that is most favorable of Golden State/OKC/Milwaukee, and a 2030 second that’s most favorable of Washington/Portland/Phoenix, Charania says.

An anonymous GM went as far to call the trade a “highway robbery”.

“This was highway robbery,” an anonymous GM told basketball analyst Jeff Goodman. “I have no idea what Brad Stevens was thinking. The Celtics will be lucky to get in the play-in next year.”

“It says everything about JB’s trade value right now,” another general manager added.

“I think Jaylen Brown, what he did for the city, what he did for the people, the organization, bringing a Finals MVP was everything, and trading him away for Paul George—I don’t know about that one. That’s a bummer,” Angelo Sepe of Revere said.

Ivan Deiko of North Reading said, “We all hate the Sixers. It’s probably the worst team he could have gone to—like, we blew a 3-1 lead. It’s horrible. This is a really bad day.”
