Marc Hirschi (Tudor) and Lorenzo Finn (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe) are the latest riders in the pro peloton to be sidelined due to crash injuries. Hirschi crashed during La Flèche Wallonne, while Finn fell during stage 3 of the Tour of the Alps.
Hirschi suffered a broken collarbone, while Finn broke his wrist. Damien Howson (Pinarello-Q36.5) also suffered a broken collarbone in the Tour of the Alps.

This year, the cobbled Classics definitely took their toll, with injuries for Marlen Reusser, Kim Le Court-Pienaar and Stefan Küng among the riders who suffered broken bones and season-interrupting injuries during the Classics.
Paris-Roubaix, often known as the most dangerous Classic, was actually sparingly low on serious injuries this year. Dozens of riders, including Florian Vermeersch and Chloé Dygert, picked up knocks and abrasions, but the serious injuries were relatively limited. That said, one rider did come away with a fractured jaw and other broken bones.
