Welfare Administrator – Job Description

About the Role
Reporting to the Welfare and Compliance Manager, you will act as a registered Signatory, verifying identities, reviewing and submitting PVG Scheme applications.
You will process and record certificate results and self-declarations, maintaining accurate records and escalating suitability concerns where required.
In this customer facing role, you will play a key role in supporting our network of Club Welfare Officers with the application processes whilst also fielding and responding to all other PVG Scheme application enquiries.
Working with the scottishathletics Welfare Officer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development, modernisation and streamlining of the administration of the PVG Scheme across the sport.
Place of Work
Hybrid working. The scottishathletics office is based at Laurie Liddell Clubhouse, 42 Peffermill Road, Edinburgh, EH16 5LL. scottishathletics also has an office within the Emirates Arena, 1000 London Road, Glasgow, G40 3HG.
Salary
The starting salary offered for the post will be £25,878 (pro rata). Annual pay awards will be made in accordance with the salary review procedures agreed by the scottishathletics Board of Directors.
