Constance Nankivell and Duncan Robinson are our current leaders in the Cross Country GP (photos by Nathan Brown and Bobby Gavin)<\/strong><\/p>\n CCGP2022-23 R2<\/a><\/p>\n The Scottish Cross Country Grand Prix<\/strong> is now at the halfway stage \u2013 with two events remaining in the four-race series.<\/p>\n There\u2019s \u00a34000 up for grabs for Senior athletes as we seek to encourage our best athletes to compete in major events over the 2022-23 winter.<\/p>\n And the indications are that the contests may be even closer than in recent years with only a few points separating the top five in both the women\u2019s and men\u2019s divisions.<\/p>\n Constance Nankivell<\/strong> of Edinburgh Uni Hare and Hounds leads the way for the women with 57 points following the Lindsays Short Course XC<\/strong> and the Lindsays District XC<\/strong> events.<\/p>\n Following Constance in the table are four women each with 50 points \u2013 Megan Keith<\/strong> (Edinburgh Uni Hare and Hounds), Holly Page<\/strong> (Carnethy HRC), Catriona MacDonald<\/strong> (Bellahouston Road Runners) and Catriona Graves<\/strong> (Highland Hill Runners).<\/p>\n Duncan Robinson<\/strong>\u2019s victory in the West District XC at Kilmarnock has propelled the Giffnock North AC athlete to the top of the men\u2019s table with 77 points.<\/p>\n Tom Graham-Marr<\/strong> of Central is just a single point adrift on 76 and his club-mate, Ben MacMillan<\/strong>, is currently third with 72.<\/p>\n The top five for the men is completed by Callum Tharme<\/strong> of Strathclyde Uni on 66 and Hamish Hickey<\/strong> makes it three Central AC athletes in the top five with 65 points.<\/p>\n Next up in the XC Grand Prix is our Inter-District XC Champs at Scone Palace in Perth on Saturday 14 January.<\/p>\n Full details on the Cross Country GP on our Event section page<\/a><\/p>\n +++<\/p>\n Tags:<\/strong>
