{"id":883,"date":"2022-12-13T14:32:37","date_gmt":"2022-12-13T14:32:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/basketball.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2022\/12\/13\/xc-sessions-this-saturday-in-glasgow-and-two-north-venues-scottish-athletics\/"},"modified":"2022-12-13T14:32:37","modified_gmt":"2022-12-13T14:32:37","slug":"xc-sessions-this-saturday-in-glasgow-and-two-north-venues-scottish-athletics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/basketball.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2022\/12\/13\/xc-sessions-this-saturday-in-glasgow-and-two-north-venues-scottish-athletics\/","title":{"rendered":"XC Sessions this Saturday in Glasgow and two North venues &#8211; Scottish Athletics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"meta-date\">Tuesday 13th December 2022<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>There are cross country group training sessions coming up this weekend in Glasgow and the North as athletes and coaches start to look towards key events early in 2023.<\/p>\n<p><strong>scottish<\/strong>athletics fully supports the concept of group training on a regular basis with the goal of trying to raise overall standards.<\/p>\n<p>These sessions are also good for coaches to network informally and chat about forthcoming events and training plans.<\/p>\n<p><em>Thanks in advance to the clubs buying into these and also in particular to the coaches and organisers who put on the sessions.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Glasgow<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Glasgow Athletics Association have a series of sessions in the West which are geared towards preparations for the <strong>Lindsays National XC<\/strong> at Falkirk in February.<\/p>\n<p>This Saturday\u2019s session is at <strong>Pollok Park.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Athletes should be warmed up and ready for a first rep at 10.30am.
