Carmelo Anthony was asked about his aspirations to return to the NBA on Monday night and it would\u2019ve been hard to script a better response.<\/p>\n
\u201cI love the game, I will say that, but I realise there\u2019s a lot of things that\u2019s not in my control,\u201d Anthony said on ESPN. \u201cSo, I just sit back and let it play out and whatever it\u2019s going to be, it\u2019s going to be and I accept that. I\u2019m at peace with that. I\u2019m cool and I get to watch my son play, train him, be around him.<\/p>\n
\u201c\u2026I can be that father and the man that I need to be so, I\u2019m cool. I would love to play. I love the game. I\u2019m still in the gym every single day. But, the opportunity presents itself, (then) it presents itself, but it\u2019s not something that I\u2019m pressing about. I still love it; I still love the game.\u201d<\/p>\n
Anthony made the comments on the same night his son Kiyan played Bronny James at Sierra Canyon High School in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n
Kiyan, who is just 15 years old, finished with eight points, two rebounds and two assists. Bronny, meanwhile, put up 12 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals.<\/p>\n
Sierra Canyon won the game 62-51, but if Melo gets his way, Kiyan won\u2019t be far behind Bronny in chasing his NBA dream.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
