Longwood won the Big South Tournament Championship after knocking off the top-seed Campbell in the championship game. In the NCAA Tournament, Longwood defeated Mount St. Mary’s in the First Four before falling to NC State in the first round. The Lancers went 22-12 last season and so far this year they are 1-3. Senior guard Anne-Hamilton LeRoy leads the team with 14.3 points per game and she is one of three players that is averaging double-digit points.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nSeries History – <\/span>This is the first meeting between the two teams. Louisville has only played three opponents from the Big South in program history and are 3-0 in those games.
