The Gators will welcome eight girls to shadow full-time staff in conjunction with National Girls and Women in Sports Day.

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tGAINESVILLE, Fla.<\/strong> \u2013 In honor of National Girls and Women in Sports Day, Florida women’s basketball has announced a shadow program for their Feb. 2 matchup with Texas A&M.

\nEight girls will have the opportunity to shadow full-time gameday staff members that include fan engagement, graphic design, marketing, photography, social media, video and videoboard operations staff. Those interested should fill out the attached form and the chosen parties will be contacted on Wednesday morning, Feb. 1, via email.
\n\u00a0
\nAll eight girls chosen will get into the game for free and spend the first half of the game with their staff member before participating in a t-shirt toss at halftime. Each participant will get a replica jersey as well and will be free to watch the second half of the game with their family.

\nThursday’s game with Texas A&M will take place at 6 p.m. ET inside Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center.
