Ole Miss has won the last two meetings, however, including a 70-60 win at the SEC Tournament quarterfinal in 2022.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n<strong>LAST TIME OUT<\/strong><br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nThe Gators earned a season-sweep over Texas A&amp;M on Thursday evening, defeating the Aggies 61-54 in Gainesville. <dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/floridagators.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/ra-shaya-kyle\/15327\" rel=\"smarttag noopener\" rev=\"15327\" target=\"_blank\">Ra Shaya Kyle<\/a><\/dfn> recorded her fifth double-double of the season with 13 points and 17 rebounds, marking a career-best effort on the glass for the junior. <dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/floridagators.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/kk-deans\/15328\" rel=\"smarttag noopener\" rev=\"15328\" target=\"_blank\">KK Deans<\/a><\/dfn> (12) and <dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/floridagators.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/nina-rickards\/15315\" rel=\"smarttag noopener\" rev=\"15315\" target=\"_blank\">Nina Rickards<\/a><\/dfn> (10) in double-figures, as UF dominated down low with a 40-18 advantage in the paint.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n<strong>A LOOK BACK<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Gators meet the Rebels for the first time this season in the first meeting since the SEC Tournament a year ago. Down two starters in the quarterfinal round, Florida battled but fell to Ole Miss, 70-60. <dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/floridagators.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/zippy-broughton\/15312\" rel=\"smarttag noopener\" rev=\"15312\" target=\"_blank\">Zippy Broughton<\/a><\/dfn> stepped-up to lead the Gators with 26 points, seven rebounds and two steals while Florida&#8217;s defense made the Rebels struggle from deep, ending just 2-of-18 (11.1%) from three-point range.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n<strong>BIG SHAY<\/strong><br \/>\n<dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/floridagators.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/ra-shaya-kyle\/15327\" rel=\"smarttag noopener\" rev=\"15327\" target=\"_blank\">Ra Shaya Kyle<\/a><\/dfn> had a career-day on the glass against Texas A&amp;M on Feb. 2, pulling down 17 rebounds to lead the Gators. Her 17 boards not only marked a career-best, but marked the most by a Florida athlete since <dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/floridagators.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/nina-rickards\/15315\" rel=\"smarttag noopener\" rev=\"15315\" target=\"_blank\">Nina Rickards<\/a><\/dfn> pulled-down 17 against Tarleton State on Dec. 14, 2020. With 13 points to go along with her rebounds, she recorded her fifth double-double of the season.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n<strong>PLAYING WITH PACE<\/strong><br \/>\nFlorida likes to get up and down the court on offense, currently holding the 36th-fastest pace in the NCAA with an average of 75.0 possessions per 40 minutes. That pace puts them at third-fastest in the SEC behind Arkansas (75.6) and Kentucky (75.6).<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n<strong>60: THE MAGIC NUMBER<\/strong><br \/>\nUnder the leadership of <dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/floridagators.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/coaches\/kelly-rae-finley\/1497\" rel=\"smarttag noopener\" rev=\"1497\" target=\"_blank\">Kelly Rae Finley<\/a><\/dfn>, Florida&#8217;s defense will always be a point of emphasis. Helping to prove that point, the Gators own a perfect 23-0 mark under Finely when holding opponents to 60 points or less.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n<strong>TO THE LINE<\/strong><br \/>\nFlorida women&#8217;s basketball is elite when it comes to getting to the free throw line, knocking down 15.32 per game which is fourth in the SEC and 23rd in the nation. They average 21.50 attempts per game, sitting at fourth in the conference and 23rd nationally.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n<strong>NET UPDATE<\/strong><br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nAfter defeating Texas A&amp;M on Feb. 2, Florida moved to 87th in the NET rankings. The Gators hold a 1-5 mark against Quad 1 opponents, 3-2 against Quad 2, 3-1 against Quad 3 and 7-0 record against Quad 4. All 14 SEC schools sit within the top 128, while South Carolina and LSU sit at first and third, respectively.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n<strong>RAINING THREES<\/strong><br \/>\n<dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/floridagators.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/kk-deans\/15328\" rel=\"smarttag noopener\" rev=\"15328\" target=\"_blank\">KK Deans<\/a><\/dfn> is closing in on the top-15 for triples made in a single season at UF as she currently has made 48, needing seven more to break into the record book.
