\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBIRMINGHAM, Ala.<\/strong> \u2013 Florida women’s basketball legend Jaterra Bonds has been named to the 2023 Southeastern Conference Women’s Legends Class.
\n\u00a0
\nThe 2023 Class of Women’s Legends showcases former student-athletes and coaches from all 14 SEC member institutions.\u00a0 The women’s legends program began in 2001 with classes chosen every year with the exception of 2021 and 2022.
\n\u00a0
\nBonds, the seventh-leading scorer in program history with 1,602 points, was named a First Team All-SEC honoree in the 2014 coaches’ poll and a Second Team All-SEC in the media poll. During the 2013 season, Bonds was named Honorable Mention All-SEC and was a 2011 SEC All-Freshman Team member. Bonds was also honored for her work off the court, being named to the 2013 and 2014 SEC Community Service Team.

\nA two-time SEC Player of the Week, Bonds played the most minutes in Florida history at 4,294 and appeared in the second-most games of any UF women’s basketball player with 137. With 412 made free throws, she boasts the second-most in Florida’s record book.

\nThe class will be honored at the 2023 SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament, March 1-5 in Greenville, S.C.\u00a0 Each legend will be recognized during half-time of their teams first game of the tournament, as well as a group introduction at halftime of the second semifinal game on Saturday.\u00a0\u00a0
