First up, the Huskies take on No. 19 Arizona (15-4, 5-3) in Tucson, Ariz. on Friday, Jan. 27 at 6:00 p.m. PT \/ 7:00 p.m. MT. This is the fourth ranked team UW has faced so far this season, and this is the 70th meeting all-time between the two programs. The game will be aired on Pac-12 Arizona with Brian Webber and Charli Turner Thorne on the call. Gary Hill will call the action on 1090 KPTR-AM.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>LAST TIME OUT<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>vs. USC on 01.22<\/strong><\/em><br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nWith seven seconds remaining in regulation, <dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/gohuskies.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/lauren-schwartz\/14552\" rel=\"smarttag noopener\" rev=\"14552\" target=\"_blank\">Lauren Schwartz<\/a><\/dfn> sunk a three-pointer \u2013 her fourth of the game \u2013 to tie the game. <dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/gohuskies.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/haley-van-dyke\/14553\" rel=\"smarttag noopener\" rev=\"14553\" target=\"_blank\">Haley Van Dyke<\/a><\/dfn> got a steal as USC tried to counter, and the clock expired, forcing overtime. UW out-rebounded the Trojans 34-31. UW forced 20 turnovers against a USC team that had been averaging 14.4 per game in conference play. <dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/gohuskies.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/dalayah-daniels\/14559\" rel=\"smarttag noopener\" rev=\"14559\" target=\"_blank\">Dalayah Daniels<\/a><\/dfn> led the team in scoring with 17, her highest scoring game in conference play. Daniels also finished with nine rebounds and three blocks. Schwartz was the other Husky in double digit scoring, finishing with 16. Van Dyke added nine points and seven rebounds.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>STAT LEADERS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>NCAA rankings through games Jan. 23, 2023: <\/strong><\/em><br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nWashington ranks No. 2 in the Pac-12 and No. 17 nationally in rebound margin (9.3). The Huskies are No. 2 in the conference and No. 36 nationally in offensive rebounds per game (14.3), and No. 5 in the conference and No. 55 nationally in rebounds per game (40.6). UW is No. 4 in the Pac-12 and No. 57 nationally in scoring defense (58.4). UW is No. 5 in the conference and No. 51 nationally in blocks per game (4.3). This is the second class in a row ranked in the Top 15 that Coach Langley and staff have signed. The Huskies added four standouts to the program with Olivia Anderson, Chloe Briggs, Ari Long, and Sayvia Sellers.<\/p>\n<p>On November 15, the Atlanta Tipoff Club named Long and Sellers to the 2023 Jersey Mike&#8217;s Naismith Girls High School Player of the Year Watch List. Long and Sellers are two of the 50 girls named to the watch list. On January 11, Sellers was one of 25 named to the Naismith High School Midseason Team.
