Photo by Bobby Gavin<\/strong><\/p>\n As another busy Track and Field championship summer draws to a close, scottish<\/strong>athletics would like to extend a huge Thank You<\/strong> to the Officials and volunteers who have played such an important role in making the 2026 season such a success.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s our message from our Competitions Team, the Communications Team and indeed everyone within your governing body.<\/em><\/p>\n \u2018From SUPERteams and relays through to Combined Events and National Championship competitions across all age groups, it has been another packed and exciting summer of athletics, with athletes from across Scotland taking to track and field facilities around the country to compete together.<\/p>\n \u2018While the performances by athletes provide many of the highlights, none of these competitions would be possible without the dedicated team of Officials and volunteers working behind the scenes and around the field of play.<\/p>\n \u2018Week after week, Officials have given their time, knowledge, and expertise to ensure that our championships are delivered safely, fairly and to the highest possible standard.<\/p>\n \u2018Their commitment helps to create the environment in which athletes can compete, coaches can support their athletes, and spectators can enjoy watching the action.<\/p>\n \u2018That contribution comes in many different forms.
