However, the most interesting new product from Berk Composites at Eurobike 2026 was the Cesta frameset.

(Photo: The European Bike Project)

The Cesta weighs around 900 g and comes in sizes S, M and L. Jure Berk says that the brand could have built a lighter frame, but he preferred to implement details that make the frame easy to live with, such as a BSA bottom bracket rather than a press fit bottom bracket.

(Photo: The European Bike Project)

The frame is made for 27.2 mm seat posts and uses regular, round seat clamps. It has a tire clearance of roughly 32 mm and will be updated soon to match the frame, which can accept up to 40 mm tires, which are becoming more and more popular.

(Photo: The European Bike Project)

Waiting time for a new frame is just two to four weeks and you can choose between different decal colors to customize your frame. The new system from Tune is currently for road bikes and light gravel bikes only, but maybe there will be a XC version in the future. Team Visma- Lease a Bike uses Tune hubs and Reserve rims now, which means that the Tune team gets insights from some of the best riders on the planet.

(Photo: The European Bike Project)

As Lucas from Tune explained, carbon spokes let them build even lighter wheels, but they do come with a challenge: They need to be perfectly straight (always), otherwise they break. As the ERD and spoke angle are not the same on every rim, they came up with a solution. The brand’s new Nano CS hubs (CS stands for carbon spokes of course) make sure that the spokes align themselves perfectly. So if you’re thinking about building a super light bike this year, the new Nano CS hubs might be what you’re looking for.

(Photo: The European Bike Project)

(Photo: The European Bike Project)

(Photo: The European Bike Project)

(Photo: The European Bike Project)

Toot Engineering

(Photo: The European Bike Project)

Toot is an Italian company that built a reputation for pushing the (UCI) limits.
