Our 4x100m Women\u2019s U20 team who landed Scottish Senior Record in Germany (photo by Allan Scott)<\/strong><\/p>\n Check out performances on scotstats.net<\/a><\/p>\n It was a Record-breaking weekend for young Scots across track and field,<\/p>\n From Relays to sprints to endurance and Combined Events, our U20 and U18 athletes excelled in Germany and in England.<\/p>\n Let\u2019s start with those who did much more than just get the baton round in Mannheim . . .<\/em><\/p>\n There was a Senior Scottish Record for our Women\u2019s 4x100m U20<\/strong> team with a superb team effort.<\/p>\n The quartet of Holly Whittaker, Sophie Thomas, Emma Clark, Cara Monachello<\/strong> won the race as they beat GB Juniors, France, Belgium, Swistzerland..<\/p>\n That time bettered the existing Senior and U20 marks for Women\u2019s 4x100m.<\/p>\n Congratulations to the athletes, families, coaches and club.<\/p>\n Our 4x100m Mixed Relay team in Mannheim (photo by Allan Scott)<\/strong><\/p>\n On Sunday, our Mixed Relay 4x100m U20 team in Germany posted an U20 Scottish Best.<\/p>\n The team ran 42.98 seconds thanks to the efforts of Kian Redman, Kishi Aremu, Owen Murphy, Emma Clark.<\/strong><\/p>\n Also in Mannheim in an individual sense . . .<\/p>\n *Sophie Thomas<\/strong> broke the Scottish U20 Record in Women\u2019s 200m. The Dunfermline Track and Field athlete clocked 23.22 \u2013 a European Lead at U20.<\/p>\n *Emma Clark<\/strong> clocked 23.90 for a European U18 standard.<\/p>\n *Holly Whittaker<\/strong> PB at 100m 13.59 and Ben Thompson<\/strong> PB at 200m with 21.89.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.scottishathletics.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/IMG_8772.jpeg\")
