It remains unclear who threw the object or whether it made contact with the Spurs star.<\/p>\n<p>The incident came as emotions boiled over across New York following one of the most dramatic games in NBA Finals history. The Knicks erased a 29-point deficit to stun San Antonio 107-106 and move within one win of their first championship since 1973.<\/p>\n<p>Wembanyama endured a difficult finish to the game, including two missed free throws in the closing minutes as the Spurs collapsed late.<\/p>\n<p>The celebrations throughout New York quickly spilled into the streets after the victory.
