Athletes set 33 marks during Indoor Season<\/a><\/p>\n It\u2019s been quite a year in Track and Field for Scottish athletes and their coaches \u2013 at various ages and stages.<\/p>\n And that\u2019s reflected in the latest batch of Record now approved and confirmed by our Board following recommendations from the Records Committee.<\/p>\n Our Records Committee sits as an important sub-group of the Track and Field Commission and those volunteers, led by scottish<\/strong>athletics Historian Arnold Black,<\/strong> spend a lot of time dealing with the required paperwork to validate records.<\/p>\n The Records Committee laid out all the details around those 26 new marks \u2013 with the vast majority from the outdoor season \u2013 and we are delighted to confirm these were then rubberstamped by our latest Board meeting.<\/p>\n Senior National Records feature prominently on the list via performances from the likes of Nick Percy, Eilish McColgan, Jake Wightman, Jack Lawrie <\/strong>and Andy Butchart.<\/strong><\/p>\n It\u2019s interesting to note the detail on the list which includes the previous Record holders with illustrious names there including Liz McColgan, Graham Williamson <\/strong>and Tom McKean.<\/strong><\/p>\n We send our warm congratulations to all the athletes involved in these new Scottish Records and to their families, coaches and clubs.<\/em><\/p>\n Indoors <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Senior Men (National) \u2013 One Mile<\/strong> 3:48.87 Josh Kerr (Edinburgh AC)<\/strong> Boston MA, USA 27 Feb 2022 Boston University Last Chance Meeting Previous record: 3:52.27, Josh Kerr, 2022<\/p>\n Senior Men (National) \u2013 1500m<\/strong> 3:32.86 Josh Kerr (Edinburgh AC)<\/strong> Boston MA, USA 27 February 2022 Boston University Last Chance Meeting (time en-route in mile) Previous record: 3:34.48, Jake Wightman, 2021<\/p>\n Outdoors <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Senior Men National \u2013 Discus Throw<\/strong> 63.47 Nick Percy (Shaftesbury Barnet H)<\/strong> Walnut CA, USA 16 April 2022 Mt.
