It\u2019s May the Fourth again, a.k.a. Star Wars<\/em> day, and there\u2019s no better way to celebrate than on your bike.<\/p>\n

Fly through the woods like you\u2019re in the forest of Endor is possible from coast to coast in Canada. Start in Banff National Park, with the Star Wars \/ Return of the Jedi loop<\/a>, then head out to these trails from the Prairies to Ontario.<\/p>\n

Wookie Toothpicks \u2013 Cumberland, B.C.<\/h4>\n

High up in Cumberland, B.C.\u2019s extensive trail network hides a sweet section of technical singletrack called Wookie Toothpicks. Named for the bare trees in the area that look like giant, Chewbacca-sized toothpicks,<\/p>\n

Take the full tour of a galaxy far far away in Cranbrook\u2019s community forest. You can do your whole ride without leaving the alternate universe.<\/p>\n

Kessel Run \u2013 Peterborough, Ont. \/ Edmonton, Alta.<\/h4>\n

If you want to challenge Han Solo\u2019s record, you can try your luck on the Kessel Run in Edmonton, Alberta or over in Peterborough, Ontario. If you\u2019re in the Prairies, you can connect to Edmonton\u2019s Ewok trail.<\/p>\n

After flying down Star Wars, climb back up the meandering trail Return of the Jedi for another lap in Banff.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Jedi Mind Trick \u2013 Silver Star bike park, Vernon, B.C.<\/h4>\n

You don\u2019t need to be a jedi to feel like you\u2019re floating mid-air, just ride the smooth jumps and berms of Silver Star bike park\u2019s Jedi Mind Trick. The blue rated trail won\u2019t make you fight to hard for your float, either.<\/p>\n

Wookie \u2013 Mansfield, Ont.<\/h4>\n

Ride with everyone\u2019s favourite co-pilot in Mansfield, Ont. and you\u2019ll feel like Han Solo flying\u00a0 the Millennium Falcon.<\/p>\n

Endor \/ Mandalore \/ Alderaan \/ Naboo \/Kessel Run \u00a0\u2013 Nanaimo, B.C.<\/h4>\n

Nanaimo\u2019s Galaxy Line (which runs roughly parallel to the Simpson\u2019s-themed Full Duff) is roughly 2.5km of fast, rough descending with the occasional long log ride, ladder bridge and drop thrown in. Nothing will feel more like rattling up to hyperspeed in an aging Millennium Falcon than trying to hold on for the full run.<\/p>\n
