That means the brand will be available through local bike stores, direct-to-consumer through Polygon and, as they are now, through MEC.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re less familiar with Polygon, the brand has a reputation for delivering a solid bike at more approachable prices. The brand owns its now factories, designs, engineers, tests and produces its bikes entirely in house. This vertical integration allows, as you might expect, Polygon to offer performance at a more competitive price. The brand is well-established globally, in mountain biking, eMTB, gravel and road. Now it\u2019s taking a more sizable step into Canada.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cyclingmagazine.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/24-_MG_1125.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a culturally recognized global cycling destination, Canada represents an exciting and important market for Polygon,\u201d says Polygon Director Stevel Wijaya. \u201cWe\u2019re eager to build lasting relationships with independent dealers who share our values.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Polygon\u2019s World Cup racing team <a href=\"https:\/\/cyclingmagazine.ca\/mtb\/with-a-new-team-tayte-proulx-royds-is-ready-to-take-on-the-world\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recently signed Kelowna, B.C. junior Tayte Proulx-Royds to its global racing program<\/a>. The brand will be available through bike shops, though MEC and direct-to-consumer online sales. Polygon adds that \u201cIn a dealer-supportive approach, online customers will select a local dealer for bike delivery and assembly, with margin shared directly with that retailer. This model ensures dealers remain an integral part of the customer experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Polygon isn\u2019t the only brand working with a so-called click-and-collect structure. Trek has <a href=\"https:\/\/cyclingmagazine.ca\/sections\/news\/trek-ecommerce-online-sales-canada\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">attempted a similar approach in recent years<\/a> as the U.S. brand sought to increase its online sales.<\/p>\n<p>Polygon\u2019s Canadian operations will be led by Paul Nash, the newly-appointed Country Manager. Polygon says Nash \u201cbrings extensive experience in the North American cycling industry, with a track record of building dealer networks and growing brands.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re a dealer interested in bringing Polygon bikes to your local community, Polygon Canada is actively welcoming inquiries from independent Canadian retailers across the country.
