Canyon Bicycles<\/a> has appointed Matthias Meier as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 May 2026.<\/p>\nIn his new role, Meier will be responsible for Canyon\u2019s global operations, commercial execution and sustainable growth, including the continued development of its direct-to-consumer model and expanding global network of service and experience partners.<\/p>\n
Meier joins Canyon after more than 12 years at bicycle component manufacturer DT Swiss, where he held roles including Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, Vice President and, most recently, co-CEO. He led DT Swiss\u2019s commercial presence across six subsidiaries on four continents and was the architect of its partnership with Continental and Swiss Side \u2014 a multi-year collaboration that produced the AERO 111 wheel\u2013tyre system.<\/p>\n
