Printed on the side was Mavic Comete 50. It\u2019s a new rim profile that features a clear bulge before diving back, shifting the apex slightly toward the tire-rim interface. Although Mavic has the <a target=\"_blank\" class=\"text-brand-primary underline hover:text-brand-primary\/85 break-words overflow-wrap-anywhere underline-offset-[3px]\" data-afl-p=\"0\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mavic.com\/en-us\/p\/cosmic-ultimate-45-disc-23mm-rr2608?variant=11600\" rel=\"noopener\">Cosmic Ultimate wheelset<\/a> with carbon spokes bonded to the rim and hub, other wheelsets in the lineup do not feature carbon spokes. This wheel was running carbon spokes with recessed nipples and no bonding to the hub.
