The sixth edition of <a href=\"https:\/\/cyclingmagazine.ca\/sections\/news\/how-to-watch-paris-roubaix-in-canada-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Paris-Roubaix Femmes<\/a> once again starts in Denain before heading north towards the brutal <em>pav\u00e9<\/em> of northern France. There\u2019s no easy early riding to start the race either\u2013positioning is already critical before the first rough sectors.<\/p>\n<p>From Wallers-Haveluy onwards, the race begins to bite.<\/p>\n<p>The early cobbled sectors set the tone before Hornaing\u2013Wandignies-Hamage and the familiar rhythm of asphalt and stones that defines the day.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cyclingmagazine.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/13853_2026.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Anyone who plans on being in the finale has to make sure to stay alert across every transition. Just like the men\u2019s, it\u2019s not about having good luck, but rather, reducing your bad luck. Crashes and punctures often decide more than legs. This where the strongest can force selections. But the race is rarely decided in one place. The biggest one-day of the year means that all the big names are there, too.<\/p>\n<p>Lorena Wiebes, Elise Chabbey, Cat Ferguson, Elisa Balsamo, Lotte Kopecky, Pauline Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot, Marianne Vos, Lara Gillespie, and Zoe B\u00e4ckstedt will all be going for the dub\u2013just to name a few.<\/p>\n<p>Then there\u2019s the Canadian contingent.<\/p>\n<p>Canadian national champ, and 2023 Paris-Roubaix winner Alison Jackson will be there with her new French team St Michel \u2013 Preference Home \u2013 Auber93, as will Human Powered Health\u2019s Maggie Coles-Lyster and EF Education-Oatly\u2019s Alex Volstad.
