This time, the team is setting its sights on gravel.<\/p>\n<p>Faction recently teased a new drop-bar frame on its social media feed. Like Big Ben, it looks to use tubing joined by metal lugs. The bike is built around TRP\u2019s wireless Vistar group. It has a rigid carbon fibre fork and a very negative stem. Looking a little closer, the paramaters printed near the rear axle reveal 435mm chainstays and a max clearance of 2.1\u2033 tires, confirming this \u00a0is probably not a drop-bar mountain bike.<\/p>\n<p>All details, or at least <a href=\"https:\/\/cyclingmagazine.ca\/mtb\/inside-the-shadows-of-canadian-bike-design\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">as many details as Faction ever releases about its projects<\/a>, will be revealed next week on April 13th.<\/p>\n<p>Faction recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DWhNCn8FMuq\/?img_index=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">partnered with Canadian endurance racer Andrew L\u2019Esperance<\/a>. So maybe we\u2019ll see this beast at a race soon? Perhaps the start line at Sea Otter next week?<\/p>\n<p>Faction isn\u2019t the only Canadian front of the 32\u2033 gravel push. On the opposite side of the country, Geoff Kabush <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DWkaa6OjYdH\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recently rolled out of Sam Whittingham\u2019s Naked Bicycles headquarters on Quadra Island with a titanium 32\u2033 gravel rig of his own<\/a>.
