Scottish Athletics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"meta-date\">Tuesday 7th April 2026<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>4J Outdoor Season<\/strong> is imminent and entries are open for our first events!<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to all those athletes, coaches and clubs who are already supporting National and District Championship events under the <em>#4Jathletics<\/em> banner.<\/p>\n<p>We start outdoors on <strong>Friday 24 April<\/strong> with the Scottish 10,000m Champs in an event kindly organised and delivered by the Glasgow Athletics Association (see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scottishathletics.org.uk\/enter-now-scottish-10000m-champs-in-glasgow-on-april-24\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">our story<\/a> and link to enter).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/scottishathletics.justgo.com\/Workbench\/i\/r\/public\/EventsAndBookingsPublic\/details\/5D9047FFE56757A23842CC84EFA32AFF08105794\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Enter Linwood<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>4J National Opener<\/strong> is a couple of weeks later as we head again to Linwood for an event we ran as a pilot in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>This year, to add to the excitement, we have introduced Mixed 4\u00d7400 Relay Champs on<strong> Saturday 9 May<\/strong> at Linwood.<\/p>\n<p>The National Opener is for U18, U20 and Senior athletes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scottishathletics.org.uk\/outdoor-season-opener\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Under starter\u2019s orders: 2025 National Opener at Linwood<\/a><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"2025 4J National Outdoor Season Opener Highlights \ud83d\udcfd\ufe0f #4Jathletics\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uLOgmrYazg4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
