But the Lions will be back and out for<br \/>\nrevenge, with no love lost between the two sides, fireworks are guaranteed as<br \/>\nthese two meet again for the chance to secure both silverware and the bragging<br \/>\nrights in the first finals of the season.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter\"\/>\n<p><strong>Speaking on facing up to the Riders in<br \/>\nthe final, London Lions starman, Sam Dekker, said:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cLeicester are playing really good<br \/>\nbasketball at the moment. We have a great rivalry with the Riders so I\u2019m sure<br \/>\nthe energy will be crazy and they\u2019ll be geared up to take us on.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re really excited and proud of the<br \/>\nway we performed in the semi-final against Bristol. Going to the cup final is a<br \/>\nbig deal! We\u2019re looking to build the foundations of the Lions and we\u2019re excited<br \/>\nfor the opportunity in this final \u2013 we\u2019re going to be really to roll and we\u2019re<br \/>\nlooking to win it.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter\"\/>\n<p><strong>Leicester Riders Head Coach, Rob<br \/>\nPaternostro, said:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re super excited, anytime you get<br \/>\nto a final it\u2019s awesome! This year will be special, we\u2019ve got a good team<br \/>\nwaiting for us down there. I\u2019m real proud of the guys to get to the finals,<br \/>\nit\u2019s tough to get there, so you have to enjoy it when you do.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been great playing against the<br \/>\nLions, I think the final last year at the 02 was awesome. But this is a totally<br \/>\ndifferent team they have this year. This team is something totally different,<br \/>\nI\u2019ve been impressed with the way they\u2019ve played this year, they\u2019ve got so many<br \/>\ngood players. It\u2019ll be different for us in a way, we\u2019ll be the underdog going<br \/>\ninto it and we haven\u2019t had that in a long time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The very best of the WBBL are on show<br \/>\nin the women\u2019s final as two sides packed with talent from the UK and further<br \/>\nafield go head to head. The Lions will be looking to retain their crown in<br \/>\nBirmingham but clash with a Riders side looking to spoil the London party in<br \/>\nthe \u2018Second City\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>With both sides currently occupying the<br \/>\ntop two spots in the WBBL Championship and stars such as Kennedy Leonard,<br \/>\nMckenzie Johnston, Holly Winterburn and Emma Fee all set to feature, it will be<br \/>\na great showcase of the pinnacle of the women\u2019s game.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not just the on court action that<br \/>\nwill get fans\u2019 pulses raising, as the BBL presents an award winning line-up of<br \/>\nentertainment throughout the afternoon. With platinum award winning grime<br \/>\nartist Not3s and award winning DJ Woody lined up to perform in<br \/>\nBirmingham.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Lukman Odunaike, more commonly known as<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Not3sofficial?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Not3s<\/strong><\/a> takes to the court at half time of the<br \/>\nmen\u2019s final, for an unmissable performance. The London born, platinum award<br \/>\nwinning artist has worked with some of the world\u2019s biggest artists<br \/>\nincluding AJ Tracey and Mabel, as being one of few artists in history to have<br \/>\nmultiple tracks in the UK\u2019s top 40 at the same time. Not3s is most well known<br \/>\nfor his best selling hits Addison Lee, My Love and Alladin, fans can expect to<br \/>\nbe off their seats as he headlines the half-time show.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>One of Mixmaster Mike\u2019s (Beastie Boys)<br \/>\nfavourite DJs, described as \u2018The best DJ in the World\u2019 by Hudson Mohawke,<br \/>\nlabelled a genius by DJ Qbert. Two times World Champion, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/djwoodymusic\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>DJ Woody<\/strong><\/a> is one of the UK\u2019s most influential<br \/>\nturntablists in the UK. He\u2019s set to raise the roof in Birmingham when he delivers<br \/>\nan incredible audio visual routine during half time of the WBBL final followed<br \/>\nby a DJ set during the dunk contest.
