Wagner never looked back, outscoring New Haven 18-15 for the remainder of the final period to prevail by five points.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Chargers (5-12, 3-3 NEC) led by one at the conclusion of the third period, but allowed the Seahawks to shoot 6-10 (60.0%) from the floor while only shooting 3-9 (33.3%) as a team.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">New Haven out-rebounded\u00a0Wagner, 44-25, including a 16-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. However, the Seahawks forced 27 Charger turnovers and outscored New Haven 19-2 in points off turnovers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Seahawks were lifted by their bench that scored 26 points to New Haven&#8217;s 14 points that came from its bench unit.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Behind Kaci, junior <dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/wagnerathletics.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/lijirin-doyinsola-modesayor\/17496\" rel=\"smarttag noopener\" rev=\"17496\" target=\"_blank\">Lijirin Doyinsola Modesayor<\/a><\/dfn> scored nine points while sophomore <dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/wagnerathletics.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/keana-foz\/17499\" rel=\"smarttag noopener\" rev=\"17499\" target=\"_blank\">Keana Foz<\/a><\/dfn> added six points, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">For the Chargers, junior Merit Innocent led with 15 points and 11 rebounds while senior Aniya McDonald-Perry added eight points and 14 rebounds.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Next up, Wagner completes a three-game homestand against Le Moyne on Thursday, Jan. 22.
