Reid has appointed Ben Tabor as Head of Quality & Compliance.
In his new position, Tabor is tasked with continuing Reid’s plan to provide quality, affordable and reliable bikes to riders worldwide. He is also responsible for Reid’s aftersales and spare parts system. By focusing on “fixing the root” of technical issues and ensuring distributors have immediate access to essential spare parts and components, Reid aims to minimise rider downtime and maximise the lifespan of every bike.
“Riders rely on bikes and mobility products to extend their natural range, speed and agility. At their best, mobility tools should function as a seamless extension of the body. They should operate reliably and disappear into the rider’s experience. As a brand, Reid focuses on the user, rather than chasing prestige or exclusivity. This is key to making mobility accessible to everyone,” said Tabor.
Speaking on the appointment, Rob Akam, CEO of Reid Group, said: “Ben’s 20 years of experience and his passion for supporting riders align perfectly with our goal of offering a blend of quality, performance and affordability. His dedication to quality ensures that our riders can trust our products, whether they are commuting to work or exploring their city.”
