Trail work has been going all winter, but now that the weather is improving and the days are getting longer, there are more trail days on the calendar. Details below.
And, if you’re looking for a summer job, the NSMBA is hiring two bodies for their trail crew, as well as an event coordinator. Either one sounds like a great opportunity to spend your summer working in the MTB community, gaining valuable experience while making a difference.

Summer Jobs:
We’re hiring three paid summer positions through Canada Summer Jobs, and we’d love to see them filled by people who love the trails.
These roles are all subject to funding approval through the Canada Summer Jobs program.
🌲 Trail Crew Member (2 positions)
Spend the summer doing the work that keeps our trails some of the best in the world. You’ll work alongside our professional crew on Mt. Fromme, Seymour, and Cypress — learning sustainable trail-building techniques, repairing structures, and making a real difference.
→ April – August | 40 hrs/week | $22
📣 Events Coordinator (1 position)
If you love connecting with people and telling stories about trails, this one’s for you. You’ll coordinate and attend community events like Trail Days and Fivers, engage community volunteers, and capture content that helps us share what we’re all about.
→ April – August | 30 hrs/week | $22
Both roles are open to youth ages 15–30 legally entitled to work in Canada.
