The Duquesne Dukes will play host again and welcome the DePaul Blue Demons to UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, where tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday. DePaul should still be riding high after a big victory, while the Dukes will be looking to regain their footing.
The contest between Duquesne and the New Mexico St. Aggies on Sunday was not particularly close, with Duquesne falling 73-60.
Meanwhile, everything went DePaul’s way against the Texas-El Paso Miners this past Saturday as they made off with a 91-70 win. DePaul’s guard Umoja Gibson looked sharp as he had 22 points. Gibson hadn’t helped his team much against the St. John’s Red Storm last week, so this was a nice turnaround for him.
The Dukes are now 7-3 while the Blue Demons sit at 6-4. DePaul is 3-2 after wins this season, and Duquesne is 1-1 after losses.
