• Oklahoma State’s women’s basketball team will hit the road for the first time under the direction of head coach Jacie Hoyt on Thursday when it travels to Springfield, Mo., to face Missouri State at 6 p.m.
• Nov. 17 marks the date the program lost former head coach Kurt Budke, assistant coach Miranda Serna and supporters Olin and Paula Branstetter, who were killed in a plane crash in Arkansas in 2011.
• The Cowgirls will be looking for their first 4-0 start since the 2019-20 campaign when they started the year 5-0.
• Claire Chastain is 77 points shy of 1,0000 for her career. If and when she reaches the 1,000-point mark, that would give OSU four 1,000-point scorers on its roster.
