The Roast of Kevin Hart turned into the hilarious roasting of four-time NBA champion Draymond Green and it definitely didn’t disappoint.
But it’s not like he didn’t have it coming. LOL.
NFL Tom Brady kicked things off just minutes into the start of the show and got right to Draymond as soon as he was done speaking about Hart.
“Draymond Green is here,” Brady said. “Yeah. Draymond’s here. For now. He’ll probably get thrown out in the next 10 minutes. You know we’re not roasting Steve Kerr, right?”
Green could be seen laughing, but a few minutes later, he was on the end of another attack from funny man Shane Gillis – the event’s host.
“Draymond Green is here, give it up for Draymond,” Gillis started. “Yeah. Sick. F–k him. Boo.
“With a name like Draymond Green, he only had a few options in life: Pro athlete, pimp in a documentary or wealthy cartoon duck.”
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson also made fun of Green’s name and told him, “Maybe it’s time to retire.”
One of the funniest digs came from Jeff Ross, who made the perfect joke about Draymond’s longtime teammate Stephen Curry.
“Steph Curry couldn’t make it tonight, but he did carry Draymond Green all the way here,” Ross said. “Love you, buddy. I’m not going to make fun of you because you’re violent. You’ve been ejected more times than a Kevin Hart DVD.”
Green finally got his turn to respond and he went in on comedian and actress Chelsea Handler.
“I never have, and never will, smash Chelsea Handler,” he said. “I’m Draymond Green. I don’t hit threes.”
Safe to say it has been quite the eventful few weeks for Draymond, after his lively debate with Charles Barkley.
