We all know that Sunday is the biggest one-day race of the year for the pros with Paris-Roubaix—but there are two other races going on as well. The under-19, a.k.a. junior men, are racing, along with the under-23 men. Unfortunately, junior and espoir women will not be racing.
Justin Picoux (Team COPPI – BO.Buro) will be there in the under-23 race. The LaSalle native has raced for the Belgian squad since 2023. Before then, he rode for another Belgian team as a junior, Crabbé Toitures – CC Chevigny Junior. So he’s got plenty of experience on the cobbles.
Toronto’s Ashlin Barry (Visma – Lease a Bike), who races with a U.S. licence, is also lining up. He’s one of the big favourites for the under-23 Hell of the North. He did well as a junior in the same race, and just finished 18th at what’s called the “mini Paris-Roubaix,” the Grand Prix de Denain. Although he rides for the Continental Visma team most of the time, he also lines up with the WorldTour squad. At Denain, he did just that. And he rode exceptionally well, making the break of the day, then staying in the main selection in the finale. He led out his teammate and still finished 18th.
You can watch the pro men and women on FloBikes.com—you can read all about the seven Canadians racing below.
But you can also watch the junior and under-23 races, courtesy of Van Rysel. The French bike brand is streaming it on its YouTube channel.

It also sponsors a Continental team, Van Rysel Roubaix. The team is part of the larger club, Vélo Club Roubaix…which kinda explains why it’s streaming the biggest race of the year.
Here’s the YouTube channel where it will be broadcast on Sunday.
