The 4J Outdoor Season is imminent and entries are open for our first events!
Thank you to all those athletes, coaches and clubs who are already supporting National and District Championship events under the #4Jathletics banner.
We start outdoors on Friday 24 April with the Scottish 10,000m Champs in an event kindly organised and delivered by the Glasgow Athletics Association (see our story and link to enter).
The 4J National Opener is a couple of weeks later as we head again to Linwood for an event we ran as a pilot in 2025.
This year, to add to the excitement, we have introduced Mixed 4×400 Relay Champs on Saturday 9 May at Linwood.
The National Opener is for U18, U20 and Senior athletes.

A week later our younger age groups – U12, U14, U16 – are invited to compete at the 4J District Champs – with Aberdeen and Kilmarnock as the venues.
Redevelopment work at Inverness for this summer has led to a venue switch and now the North and East District events will be in Aberdeen.
