Three Pilots Earn All-WCC Honors – University of Portland Athletics

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Three Pilots earned All-West Coast Conference honors on Tuesday, with Dyani Ananiev earning second team honors, Florence Dallow earning honorable mention and Julia Dalan making the freshman team.

This is the second times Ananiev has earned All-WCC honors, having made the All-WCC Freshman Team back in 2023-24. Ananiev was the leading scorer for the Pilots this year at 11 points a game along with 3.9 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per contest. Ananiev’s 2.5 steals and 69 total steals both lead the conference this season, with her average being half a steal more than the next closest player. She’s one of just three WCC players to have recorded six steals in a single game multiple times.

Dallow garners All-WCC recognition for the first time in her career, earning honorable mention. Dallow was second on the team in scoring at 10.4 points while also tallying 5.3 rebounds and 1.4 steals. In conference play, Dallow averaged 10.8 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.8 steals, ranking 10th in rebounds per game. Earlier this year, Dallow became the only WCC player to post at least 15 points, 15 rebounds, five assists and five steals in a single game in at least the 2000s and one of just 38 players in the NCAA to have done so over that time span.

Dalan wraps up the honorees for Portland, making the freshman team. Dalan averaged 6.9 points and 5.0 rebounds along with 3.3 blocks per game. Her blocks average and total blocks (69) both led the conference. Despite playing just 21 games, she ranked ninth in the nation in total blocks. Her 69 blocks broke the Pilots’ freshman record for blocks in a season, set in the 1990-91 season by Rosemary Adams. She had the most blocks by a WCC freshman since Sara Hamson in the 2017-18 season.

The Pilots finished the regular season at 17-13 overall and 11-7 in WCC play to take fifth in the conference. They are officially the 5-seed in the 2026 Credit Union 1 West Coast Conference Basketball Championships, set to play on Saturday, March 7 at 12 p.m. The tournament officially begins on Thursday, March 5 and runs through Tuesday, March 10. All games will be streamed on ESPN+, with the championship being streamed on ESPN2.
